Fantastic Documentary
Love this documentary and the ideals put forth by all involved and especially both Ken Cockrel Sr and Justin Ravitz. Unfortunately our city has seen quite a steep decline since this time period wether that be in overall production or manufacturing as an industry itself. It's so telling of the capitalist method of thinking when they play Lee Iococa's quote on pitting states and countries against each other to secure the highest tax breaks for GM and later Chrysler. Once workers of the world realize that we hold the key to society (our labor) this will hopefully be an abhorrent practice of the past. But alas, that day seems like it may never come.

Detroit - The Socialist Experiment
The film is about socialists who want to "take back Detroit." Hon...in it's day, it was capitalists who made Detroit the American city with the highest average household income - including negroes, btw.
Today's Detroit (the most disgusting thing I'll ever see in my whole life) is run by socialists all right. Take a lesson.
